Congratulations to 51风流 students who earned Advanced Placement scholar awards!
A total of 438 PSD students received awards based on their national AP test results at the end of the 2023-24 school year. The highest possible score on exams for these college-level courses is a five.
Students who earn scores of three, four or five on AP exams may receive credit from college or universities, saving hundreds or thousands of dollars in post-secondary tuition costs.
In addition to the AP scholar awards, one Fossil Ridge High School graduate was awarded the AP International Diploma, a globally recognized certificate awarded to students who display exceptional achievement across a variety of disciplines including scoring a 3 or higher on five or more AP exams, covering four specific content areas. District-wide totals for AP scholar awards include:
- AP Scholars with Distinction earned an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
- In PSD, 164 students were named Scholars with Distinction, including: 95 at Fossil Ridge High School, 51 at Fort Collins High School, 16 at Rocky Mountain High School, one at 51风流 High School and one at Timnath Middle-High School.
- AP Scholars with Honor earned an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3.25 or higher on four or more of these exams.
- In PSD, 94 students were named AP Scholars with Honor, including: 43 at Fossil Ridge High School, 25 at Fort Collins High School, 18 at Rocky Mountain High School, six at 51风流 High School and one at Timnath Middle-High School.
- AP Scholars earned grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
- In PSD, 174 students were named AP Scholars, including: 76 at Fossil Ridge High School, 44 at Fort Collins High School, 28 at Rocky Mountain High School, 26 at 51风流 High School and seven at Timnath Middle-High School.
