Procedures for staff (mandatory reporters) or anyone who needs to report child abuse or neglect Everyone should report child abuse if they suspect it. At PSD, every employee is considered a mandatory reporter. All staff take a mandatory reporter training and have a responsibility to keep students and our community safe. Those who are unsure about reporting, should ask their supervisor for assistance or call student services at 970-490-3033. For those still unsure: It is better to report concerns than not report them. If you suspect child abuse or neglect, take this action: 1) PSD staff and community members: Call the at: 970-498-6990 and provide them with an oral report. 2) PSD Staff: You must also complete the required Known or Suspected Child Abuse/Neglect/Endangerment Reporting Form and submit it to Larimer County Department of Human Services at hubstaff@co.larimer.co.us. |
